An exciting community event in Vienna with lights, sounds and great running vibes
The first ever VCM Rave Run brought a new and vibrant running experience to Vienna's Prater. Held on Saturday evening, 6 September, the event blended the magic of running with dazzling lights and energetic sounds, creating a dynamic atmosphere for all participants.

Celebration all around the Prater
The celebration began and ended at the Rugby Union Donau Wien grounds, which served as the home base for the festivities. Runners enjoyed a scenic 5-kilometer route along the Hauptallee, through the forest, and along the Kaiserallee. The VCM's party-styled e-rickshaw illuminated the path, enriching the experience with lights and music as dusk settled in.
An evening to remember
The weather was perfect, the mood uplifting, and the turnout impressive. Rather than a competitive race with timekeeping, the focus was on fun, togetherness, and community spirit. The event successfully brought together members of Vienna's running community to celebrate in a lively, inclusive environment.
