On 26 August, we have opened the registration for further events at the Vienna City Marathon 2026.
• Powerade Relay Marathon | Sunday, 19 April
• Vienna 5K, The Daily Mile 800, The Daily Mile 1600 | Saturday, 18 April
Entry for the Marathon and Wiener Städtische Half Marathon has been open since mid-June.

Powerade Relay Marathon
Get ready and motivate your crew, family and colleagues!
Split the distance, multiply the fun: run the marathon distance as a team of four! Ideal for companies, friends, families, clubs and associations. The handover points at the Powerade Relay Marathon are a highlight along the route.
The length of the individual sections: 15.5 km | 8.6 km | 6.7 km | 11.395 km
Changeover points are located in Schönbrunn, on the Danube Canal (Brigittenauer Lände) and in the Prater.

Vienna 5K: Movement for everyone on the Ringstrasse
Experience the fantastic atmosphere of the Vienna City Marathon at the ‘Vienna 5K’! Running, walking, wheelchair or pram – at any pace and any age: the 5 km race on Saturday, 18 April 2026 on the Ringstrasse is a sporting event for everyone. Top Austrian runners will be there, as will beginners, kids, families and seniors.
Look forward to a motivating atmosphere. The start is at the university. At the finish line in front of the Burgtheater, we will celebrate your performance together after successfully completing the Ringstraße circuit.
Attention schools: At the GÖD School Trophy, we are also looking for Austria's fastest schools as part of the Vienna 5K!
By participating, you will be supporting the VCM initiative ‘Run for a Tree’.
Bonus: The first 100 registrations from members of the City of Vienna Benefits Club (Vorteilsclub der Stadt Wien) will receive a 25% discount on the entry fee (adult rate), thereafter a 20% discount.
The Daily Mile 800 & 1600
The 800-metre and 1600-metre races for children and young people are sure to thrill on Saturday afternoon. A rousing atmosphere and beaming faces. Hearts beat especially fast here!
This competition is named after the running initiative ‘The Daily Mile’, in which more than 100 schools throughout Austria are already participating.
Exercise and health for young people are close to our hearts. That's why we've expanded our capacity so that more children and young people can take part in 2026!

We use part of the entry fee to support Rat auf Draht, the Austrian emergency number 147 for children and young people – an initiative of SOS Children's Villages.
