In preparation for the 41st Vienna City Marathon on 21 April 2024, we organise several running events in Vienna: the VCM Winter Run Series. Here you can meet friends and get in shape for the Vienna City Marathon.

The heart of the VCM Winter Run Series is the Prater Hauptallee with a route variation around the Lusthaus. On 10 March 2024 we will start the "3rd Vienna Calling Half Marathon" as part of the series. Experience the record-breaking course like at the beginning of the Vienna City Marathon and like at the INEOS 1:59 Challenge by Eliud Kipchoge.

Bonus for VCM runners
If you are registered for the 41st Vienna City Marathon 2024 (Marathon or Wiener Städtische Half Marathon), you have the opportunity to participate in one (1) preparation run of your choice for free, as long as starting place allotments are available. We reserve a contingent of free starting places in each case. Specifically at the VCM Tribute to Eliud (12th October) or at one of the events of the VCM Winter Running Series or at one of our partner races in Austria.
If you want to redeem your free entry at a certain event of the VCM Winter Running Series, please wait with your registration until this possibility is available via the registration system. We will inform you about this.

The VCM Winter Running Medal is a great souvenir for your run. It is a three-dimensional snowflake and consists of two interlocking wooden pieces with a ribbon. The VCM Winter Run Trophy is manufactured in Lower Austria and made from regional wood. Thus we offer a resource-saving and sustainable memento.
Important: There is no reordering on site! If you want to receive a medal, you have to order it in advance.
The top 3 in the overall standings of each race will receive their VCM Winter Run trophy regardless of whether you order it at the award ceremony.
