The waiting list for the Marathon and Wiener Städtische Half Marathon is now open
Thank you for your incredible enthusiasm for running:
Registration for the Marathon at the VCM 2027 closed on 20 September 2026.
For the Wiener Städtische Half Marathon, it had already closed on 2 September.
These two events have never sold out this early before.
Your passion for running is amazing! We’re really looking forward to welcoming you.
We have set up a waiting list for the Marathon and the Wiener Städtische Halbmarathon. Subject to availability, if reserved starting places are returned, the waiting list gives you a chance to take part.
There are still plenty of ways to be part of VCM weekend.
Secure your starting place in the Powerade Relay Marathon and the Tchibo Coffee Run 10K on Sunday, as well as the Vienna 5K on Saturday.

Registration for the VCM Kids’ Races and the Coca-Cola Inclusion Run is currently in preparation.
To keep you motivated and help you get in shape, we’re preparing the VCM Winter Running Series.
Join us for the races on 13 December, 24 January and 7 March.
