Registration Opens for the Wiener Städtische Half Marathon, POWERADE Relay Marathon & VCM Winter Running Series
On Wednesday, July 22, registration opens for:
• Wiener Städtische Half Marathon
• POWERADE Relay Marathon
Both events take place on Sunday, April 18, 2027, as part of the Vienna City Marathon.
At the same time, registration also opens for the VCM Winter Running Series.
Join us on Vienna's Prater Hauptallee and boost your fitness for the Vienna City Marathon at three winter events:
1st VCM Winter Run – December 13, 2026
• 5 km
• 10 km
2nd VCM Winter Run – January 24, 2027
• 5 km
• 10 km
• 15 km
• Half Marathon
3rd VCM Winter Run – March 7, 2027
• Vienna Calling Half Marathon – starting on the Reichsbrücke
• 1 Mile
• 5 km
• 10 km
Mark July 22 in your calendar and secure your race entries.
Registration for the Marathon (42.195 km) has already been open since April, and nearly 8,000 runners have already signed up. This figure does not yet include registrations through travel agencies, charity partners, or corporate teams.
So don't wait too long to register. Running enthusiasm is at an all-time high, and the Vienna City Marathon 2027 is set to become our biggest celebration yet!
