How the bag drop services works and what to do, if you haven't booked it.
The bag drop service for Sunday had to be booked in advance by March 16.

In brief:
If you did not make a booking, it is not possible to drop off a bag. Unfortunately, late booking is not available.

This applies to all Sunday races:
- Marathon
- Wiener Städtische Half Marathon
- Powerade Relay Marathon
- Tchibo Coffee Run 10K
All participants receive a bag with a drink and goodies together with their bib number. However, this bag can only be used as an official bag drop bag if you have booked the bag drop service.
You will need:
- the adhesive label for the bag
- the clothes hanger symbol on your bib number
If you booked the bag drop service, these will be provided together with your bib during bib pickup.
Your bag will be transported from the Vienna Sports World or the start area to the finish area. After the race, you can collect it by showing your bib number.
For the Powerade Relay Marathon: only one bag per team is allowed. There is no transport between relay exchange points. All bags are returned at the finish area only.

- Saturday, April 18, 2026 – Vienna Sports World, Marx Halle, 9:00–18:00
- Sunday, April 19, 2026 – 7:00–8:30, start area / Wagramer Straße

No bag drop booked? Here are your options:
Bring old clothes to the start or something to keep warm before the race. You can take clothes off and leave them there.
Clothing left in the start area will be collected immediately afterwards by the city waste service (MA 48) and transferred to carlas, the Caritas second-hand shops. The clothes will be processed and resold at affordable prices. This helps conserve resources, reduce waste, and support social projects.
You can also bring a companion to the start, hand over your bag, and meet them again at the finish.
Bag drop at the Vienna 5K
At the Vienna 5K on Saturday, April 18, you can drop off a VCM bag in the start/finish area. This must be booked in advance for €2.
You can book the service in your account until April 12. Late booking is not available at the Expo or on-site.
If you booked the Vienna 5K bag drop service:
- Your bib has a clothes hanger symbol.
- You will receive a label - please write your bib number on it yourself.
You may only use the official VCM bag with the attached label.
Drop-off & collection Vienna 5K
Drop off your bag on Saturday, April 18 before the race at the bag drop truck opposite the university.
After the race, you can collect it at the same location by showing your bib number.
