Vienna 5K, children's races and the Coca-Cola Inclusion Run: registration is in full swing
Registration for the VCM Saturday, 18 April 2026 is in full swing. Expect an exciting atmosphere, several thousand participants and lots of fun in the heart of Vienna.
We are looking forward to these running events:
• Vienna 5K – on the Ringstrasse around the city centre
• The Daily Mile 800 & 1600 – for children and young people aged 6-15
• ‘Mini Kids Run’ – for the youngest participants
• Coca-Cola Inclusion Run – Together & without barriers. This event kicks off the running day at 1:30 p.m.

Focus on the next generation: The Daily Mile 800 & 1600
An electrifying atmosphere and beaming faces await you at the 800-metre and 1600-metre runs.
This competition is named after the running initiative ‘The Daily Mile’, in which more than 100 schools throughout Austria are already participating.
Exercise and health for young people are close to our hearts. That's why we're starting earlier so that more children and young people can take part!
All children will receive a cool event shirt made from functional material from Erste Bank Sparkasse.
Attention schools: At the GÖD School Trophy, we are looking for the fastest schools in Austria as part of the Daily Mile runs! The winners will receive cash for their class fund.
Vienna 5K: Movement for everyone
Run five kilometres at speed, jog, walk, stroll, or participate with a wheelchair or pram – at any pace and at any age. Experience the fantastic atmosphere of the Vienna City Marathon on Saturday evening!
Austrian top runners will be participating on the magnificent route in the heart of Vienna, as will beginners, children, families, and seniors.
Look forward to a motivating atmosphere. The start is at the university. At the finish line in front of the Burgtheater, we will celebrate your performance together after successfully completing the circuit.
Bonus: The first 100 registrations from members of the City of Vienna Benefit Club will receive a 25% discount on the entry fee (adult rate), followed by a 20% discount.
