Start into the week with a purpose and positivity

At the Path to Fight Cancer Social Run & Walk on Monday, 8 September, 250 participants sent a strong message in the fight against cancer. The event kicked off at 7 a.m. in Donaupark – a stunning location with views of the UNO City and the Danube Tower.

Participants could choose between a 5-kilometre run and walking distances of 1.6 and 3.2 kilometres. The atmosphere was excellent: an international community, positive vibes and a common goal – to raise awareness in the fight against cancer. The blue event shirt provided extra motivation and expressed the spirit of togetherness.

The VCM Group is proud to have organised this event for the European Society of Pathology as part of the 37th European Congress of Pathology in Vienna. With their finisher medals around their necks, the runners and walkers then set off for their new day at the congress.
