Your fun preparation for the Vienna City Marathon. Registration is open.

Look ahead: Together with the marathon & half marathon registration for VCM 2026 we have also opened the registration for the VCM winter running series in the Prater Hauptallee. Here you can find all info & registration!

Meet friends from the running community and build up your form for the Vienna City Marathon at our races with fixed dates. We offer distances from 5 kilometres to the half marathon and new: there is also a mile run on every race day!

Ideal for young athletes, families and anyone who wants to try their hand at this classic distance of 1,609 metres.

Among all VCM winter runners who are also registered for the marathon or Wiener Städtische half marathon, we are again giving away 100 free starts per winter running date!

25 January 2026 - Take off!
1 mile, 5 km & 10 km, 15 km & half marathon

8 March 2026 - Vienna Calling!

To create more space for everyone, we are expanding the schedule.

In December, we will divide the field of runners and run the 5 km race first, followed by the 10 km race.

In January there will be a start for the 5km & 10km and after the completion of these races there will be a joint start for the 15km & half marathon.

The home base for the races is once again the fantastic area of the Rugby Club right next to the Prater Hauptallee. Cloakrooms, toilets, race number distribution, award ceremony, catering and food ... - all in one place.
