We’re looking forward to the Vienna City Marathon - and to the new season of running events in December, January, and March at the VCM Winter Running Series 2026/27.

To prepare for the 43rd Vienna City Marathon on April 19, 2026, we are organizing several running events in Vienna: the VCM Winter Running Series.
For motivation, fitness boost, and meeting friends.
The runs take place on the Prater Hauptallee. On March 8, 2026, we will start the "5th Vienna Calling Half Marathon" at the Reichsbrücke.
The VCM Winter Running Series is a proud partner of Erste Bank Sparkasse Running.
All events of the VCM Winter Running Series are officially AIMS-measured and part of the World Athletics Global Calendar.
Show what your crew can do!
At every event in the VCM Winter Running Series, we count which group, club or community has the most active runners at the start.We celebrate the three largest teams after each race and at the end we crown the ‘Crew of the Winter Season 2025/26’. The top 3 teams in the entire series will receive cash prizes (500 | 300 | 200 euros) and a VIP table as well as tickets for the VCM After Race Party on 19 April 2026.
To participate, each runner must provide their community name when registering (no company teams).
