With Pipeup, your marathon experience becomes even more personal – for you and everyone cheering you on. 💛
Spectators, friends, fans and family can send live messages (Cheers) and photos (Snaps) that appear on the LED screens in the finish area.

Your Personal Message at the Finish
The highlight:
Fans can search specifically for runners – by name or bib number (Marathon, Relay Marathon*, Half Marathon, Tchibo Coffee Run 10K & Vienna 5K) – and send personal messages directly to the finish line.
As soon as the runner crosses the spotter mat approx. 200m before the finish, your message will – with a bit of luck – appear on the LED finish tower!
How it works:
- Search for a runner (name or bib number)
- Write a message (e.g. "You're amazing Anna, you've done it!")
- Enter who the message is from in the second line (e.g. "Lisa")
Important:
Please include the runner's name in the message
(e.g. "You're amazing Lukas, you've done it!")
*Note: For the relay marathon, please enter the bib number without letters or search by the relay team name.
More Than Just a Message
In addition to personalised messages, general Cheers and Snaps will also be shown on the LED walls in the finish area – for even more atmosphere and emotion along the final stretch.
