The VCM winter running series in the Prater Hauptallee in Vienna is the perfect opportunity to escape the winter blues and get in shape for the Vienna City Marathon. This boosts your mood and fitness during the darker months of the year. 

And if it's freezing cold, the satisfaction of having made it is all the greater.

The centrepiece of the VCM winter running series is the Prater Hauptallee with an attractive route around the Lusthaus. 

Look forward to a special highlight on 10 March 2024, when we start the "3rd Vienna Calling Half Marathon" on the Reichsbrücke.

Important to know: 

You can pick up your race number on the Friday before the race at the HERVIS branch at Mariahilfer Straße 36. 

If you would like a VCM winter run medal, order it in advance with your registration. 

The courses are officially AIMS-measured, completely flat and part of the World Athletics Global Calendar. 

The free starting places for VCM participants have already been used up for all three dates. Thank you for the great interest! 

The VCM Winter Running Series is of course open to anyone interested in running, regardless of whether they are registered for a Vienna City Marathon competition.
