VCM Winter Running Series
Get ready for your VCM start!
To prepare for the 44th Vienna City Marathon on 18 April 2027, we are organising several running events in Vienna: the VCM Winter Running Series.
For motivation, a fitness boost and to meet friends.
The runs take place on the Prater Hauptallee. On 7 March 2027, we start the "6th Vienna Calling Half Marathon" on the Reichsbrücke.
The VCM Winter Running Series is a proud partner of Erste Bank Sparkasse Running. Members of the City of Vienna Benefits Club receive a 20% discount on the entry fee (adult rate). The discount cannot be applied retroactively to existing registrations.
All VCM Winter Runs are officially AIMS-measured and part of the World Athletics Global Calendar.
Show what your crew can do!
At every event in the VCM Winter Running Series, we count which group, club or community brings the most active runners to the start.We celebrate the three largest teams after each race and at the end we crown the “Crew of the Winter Season 2026/27”. The top 3 teams in the entire series will receive cash prizes and a VIP table as well as tickets for the VCM After Race Party on 18 April 2027.
To participate, each runner must provide their community name when registering (no company teams).
