Eligibility for Participation
- Runners aged 18 and over are eligible to compete in the marathon (42.195 km).
- Runners aged 16 and over are eligible to take part in the half marathon.
- Runners aged 14 and over are eligible to start in the Vienna 10K and the relay marathon. Those born in 2015, 2014 and in some cases 2013 may participate with the consent of a parent or legal guardian during the online registration process.
As a parent, please carefully consider whether your child is well prepared and has trained sufficiently to actively participate in a major event. If so, your child may take part with your consent, which you can provide during the online registration process.
Please do not under any circumstances register your child using the wrong age group, as this is a violation of the competition rules and will therefore lead to disqualification (see also the VCM General Terms and Conditions).
