Registration for VCM Sunday events is closed

Registration for the Sunday races of the Vienna City Marathon (21 April) is closed - Marathon, Wiener Städtische Half Marathon and Powerade Relay Marathon.

We have set up waiting lists for the marathon and half marathon race.

There is no waiting list for the Powerade relay marathon.

Starting places for the Saturday events are still available!

Vienna 5K, The Daily Mile 800 & 1600, Coca-Cola Inclusion Run

The enthusiasm for running is huge and the anticipation for the event is growing. Many people have once again made their plans much earlier and more long-term than in previous years. This is why the VCM field is already so large, a good six weeks before the event.

The demand for starting places is also very high for the Saturday events with start and finish on the Ringstrasse in front of the Burgtheater.
 

Waiting list Marathon & Half Marathon

We have set up a waiting lists for the marathon and half marathon race. You can register there with your details and also provide your payment information.

Important: Inscription on the waiting list is free of charge. It does not guarantee your registration and does not entitle you to participate. If starting places become available by 28 March at the latest, the people on the waiting list will move up.

If you are allocated a starting place, we will send you your final registration confirmation and the registration fee will be debited from your account.

If you do not receive a starting place, you will not be debited and you will not receive a registration confirmation.

If you have a valid registration code, please also use the waiting list and enter your code in the appropriate place. This will ensure that you are included in the start list. You will receive your registration confirmation within three working days.

Companies with group registration can continue to register participants until the agreed registration deadline.
 

The total quota of 35,000 registrations for the three Sunday events remains unchanged compared to 2023 in order to maintain a high event quality and a great experience for all participants.

We set this figure at the start of registration and also communicated it to the authorities as a basis for planning. Due to construction site-related bottlenecks on the running course and restrictions in the wider finish area due to the underground railway construction, the number of participants cannot be increased at will.

Bonus for the Vienna 5K: Members of the City of the "Vorteilsclub der Stadt Wien" (Vienna Benefits Club) receive a 20 per cent discount on registration, valid for adults on the full price of the Vienna 5K. The discount cannot be redeemed retroactively for existing registrations.
