M/W 30 1979-1983	M/W 60 1949-1953
M/W 35 1974-1978	M/W 65 1944-1948
M/W 40 1969-1973	M/W 70 1939-1943
M/W 45 1964-1968	M/W 75 1934-1938
M/W 50 1959-1963	M/W 80 1933 and older

There will separate age group evaluations for men and women, however, for organizational reasons there will not be an awards ceremony for the winners of the different age groups..

Participation of a runner under the age of 18 years

The main events Marathon and Half Marathon are subject to restrictions for runners under the age of 18 years. This means that only those runners who have already turned 18 years at the day oft he race are allowed to participate. Therefore, online registration is only possible for the age groups mentioned above.

As parent or legal representative you may allow your son/daughter under the age of 18 years to participate in the Marathon or Half Marathon if you you are of the opinion that he/she has sufficiently trained for the event of his/her choice and that he/she will be able to manage the chosen distance without problems. Please be aware that partipation of a juvenile under the age of 18 years in the Marathon or Half Marathon creates an exceptional strain. If you are not certain that you should allow your son/daughter to participate you might contact our physicians and experts at our [VCM Medical Center] for advice.

Please DO NOT register your son/daughter online by entering an incorrect year of birth as this means a violation of the participation rules and might lead to disqualification (please see General Conditions of Participation)
